Dr. Tamer Haliloğlu is an Ear, Nose and Throat and Head and Neck Surgery Specialist and a member of the Facial Plastic Surgery Association.

Dr. Tamer Haliloğlu was born in Xanthi, Greece. He moved to Turkey with his family in 1970. He started his primary education at Izmit Fevzi Çakmak Primary School, then graduated from Namık Kemal Middle School and Izmit High School.
After graduating from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 1987, Haliloğlu started his specialization in the team of Professor Doctor Behbut Cevanşir in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Istanbul Medical Faculty, and became an Ear Nose Throat Diseases and Head and Neck Surgery Specialist in 1993.
He worked as a Chief Assistant at Istanbul Taksim German Hospital Ear Nose and Throat Department for 16 years and at SSK Okmeydanı Training Hospital for 8 years. He specialized in the ENT Department of the Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine.
Accepting his patients in his office in Fulya, Haliloğlu has performed more than 20 thousand functional and aesthetic nose surgeries, over a thousand head and neck surgeries, cancer surgeries and ear surgeries, and countless tonsil, concha and ear tube surgeries in children, in his professional life of more than 20 years.
His special interest is functional and aesthetic nose surgery. At the same time, he followed his childhood dream of the sky and airplanes and started to become a pilot in 2011. Actively flying, Dr. Tamer Haliloğlu teaches “Human Performance and Limits” at flight schools in Istanbul within the scope of the authorization given by the General Directorate of Civil Aviation.
Rhinoplasty – Op. Dr. Tamer Haliloğlu still worked as a Flight Surgeon at Istanbul Florence Nightengale Hospital Aviation Medical Center and transferred his knowledge to young people by giving lectures at Beykent University for 5 years.
My aesthetic view
Our nose is the most important part of our face which presents our facial characteristic. Common public opinion is that the nose is the most important part of the facial beauty.
An ideal nasal structure with optimal shape also makes the face look beautiful as well.
Various nose aesthetic procedures we do to achieve this, have improved greatly in the recent years and allow us to provide our patients what they need with comfortable and dependable methods.
Because of this, many people want to have a rhinoplasty (nose job).
Actually, the majority of the patients who decide to have rhinoplasty operation, want no one to notice that they underwent any operation after the nose aesthetic operation.
Another factor I give great importance to the hospital where I perform surgeries. The hospitals I perform in are all in Istanbul. I make sure that both medically and ethically, they share the same view and understanding with me.
When doing this, I pay attention to 3 ground rules:
First of all, just like patient requests, is to make sure that the nose looks natural and beautiful after the operation.
Secondly, no visual deformity occurs in time that might annoy the patient.
Lastly, is that nothing disrupts the most important function of our nose: breathing.
In addition to these 3 rules, I also include septum deviation operation to the nose aesthetic operations I perform. As a result, we can achieve outcomes that pleases and satisfies patients after the nose rhinoplasty operations.
